This watch is a lightweight (nowhere near as heavy as a Rolex, Panerai, or other Patek - it’s barely noticable on your wrist) sport watch with a beautifully styled band. It is a less expensive entry model for anyone wishing to enter the world of Patek ownership. For me, the size of this watch is a testament to superior watchmaking. Many prefer the larger size (called “jumbo” and numbered 5065-1A to this “midsize”), but I treasure what must have been a greater challenge of creating a calendar watch in this size case as opposed to a larger one. I’ve owned this a year, and I get as many compliments on its looks as I do with my solid gold Rolex, or my SS Daytona. It’s a joy to own and a pleasure to look at. I wish it had a longer power reserve, though, and for that reason (and that reason alone), I don’t give it the full five stars.

This watch was just as shown in the picture, thin, sleek and very comfortable. I wouldn’t typically do a review but I was very impressed with Amazon as the purchasing agent b/c the watch was originally lost in the mail. While it meant it took longer to get, Amazon kept updating me on tracking of it and then sent out a new one at no charge.
That was definately the right thing to do from a customer service standpoint but I know of other online companies that would have made it much more frustrating and difficult to get the product so I am very pleased with Amazon and would definately purchase from them again :)

I received this GORGEOUS watch for my 50th Birthday. I already had an expensive gold watch and wanted something less pretentious, but beautiful, sassy and unusual. This gets perfect marks for those reasons. My only complaint (be it a small one) is I find it difficult to get the clasp through the very small opening…could just be my eyesight is going…now that I’m of a certain age.

So if you are looking for some gift that really creates a BIG impression then this is the watch you are looking for… I don’t need to talk about how beautiful the watch is and Movado and quality of product etc. etc. N yea Amazon was prompt with delivery and the watch comes with the manufacturer’s warranty
